Cookie Policy

We only set cookies that are strictly necessary to run the service. We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site trackers. Because all our cookies are strictly necessary, we don't show a cookie banner — under UK PECR and the EU ePrivacy Directive (Article 5(3)), strictly-necessary cookies are exempt from consent.

We also use a small amount of browser localStorage and sessionStorageto hold UI state (e.g. the filename of your last upload while you're still on the page). This data never leaves your device.

We use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years) to measure how visitors use the site, and the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies such as _fbp (up to 90 days) to measure visits from our Meta ads. These are analytics and advertising cookies, not strictly necessary ones. They never receive your CSV or its contents.

We also use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and does not set any cookie or persistent identifier on your device.

The Buy Me a Coffee support button loads a small widget from buymeacoffee.com. If you open it, Buy Me a Coffee may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. The widget never receives your CSV or its contents.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, per site. The converter works fine without any cookies at all — blocking Google and Meta cookies has no effect on converting your file.

If we add, remove, or change a cookie we'll update the table above and the "Last updated" date. For material changes we'll post a notice on the homepage at least 14 days in advance.
