Cookie Policy

The short version
We only set cookies that are strictly necessary to run the service. We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site trackers. Because all our cookies are strictly necessary, we don't show a cookie banner — under UK PECR and the EU ePrivacy Directive (Article 5(3)), strictly-necessary cookies are exempt from consent.

We also use a small amount of browser localStorage and sessionStorageto hold UI state (e.g. the filename of your last upload while you're still on the page). This data never leaves your device.
Third-party cookies
When you click "Buy" or "Manage billing", you are redirected to checkout.stripe.com or billing.stripe.com. Those pages are operated by Stripe and may set cookies under Stripe's own domains. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's cookie policy — we have no access to or control over them.
We use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless — it does not set any cookie or persistent identifier on your device.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other advertising or tracking cookie.
Managing cookies
Because all the cookies we set are strictly necessary, blocking them will break sign-in and the post-payment unlock. You can still control cookies via your browser settings — most browsers let you block or clear cookies for individual sites. Doing so will sign you out and may make parts of the site unusable.
Changes to this policy
If we add, remove, or change a cookie we'll update the table above and the "Last updated" date. For material changes we'll post a notice on the homepage at least 14 days in advance.
